The history of Madison Park Greetings can be traced back to 1977 when Judi Jacobsen began painting at her kitchen table after the birth of her fourth child. Judi soon started selling her greeting card designs at local art fairs and later joined a fellow artist to form the company Lucy & Me. In 1984, the business evolved into the Me Two Company and ten years later relocated across town to Seattle's Capitol Hill and was renamed Madison Park Greetings, after a nearby idyllic community on the shores of Lake Washington.

In 1997, Judi's son Brian Jacobsen and his childhood friend Glen Biely took over the full-time running of the company, expanding the product line while also building strategic operating partnerships within the industry. These partnerships leverage Madison Park Greetings’ infrastructure and market knowledge, enabling our partners to dedicate their efforts full-time toward product development and design.

Collectively, Madison Park Greetings and its strategic partners sell a wide range of stationery and gift products to over 5,000 retailers across the country. Many of our products are also available via distributors in other countries including Canada, England, Australia, Japan and New Zealand.
