COMING SOON: New Artists to Join MPG
Madison Park Greetings is excited to announce that we will be adding three new members to our portfolio of artists in 2021: Emma Schonenberg, Emiko Leach, and Kathy Cano-Murillo!
These artists join our talented roster of creators including Ine Beerten, Cori Dantini, Rachel Schafer, Elizabeth Olwen, Kimberly Shrack, Morgan Georgie and Carrie Kiefer.
The common thread between all of these talented women is that their love of art cannot be contained to the pages of their own sketchbooks. They wish to share their unique talents with the world and we are lucky to have them contribute their artwork to our greeting cards! Take a look below to learn more about the newest additions to our Madison Park family!
Emma Schonenberg
If you are seeking bright florals and innovative modern patterns, look no further than Emma Schonenberg! With a diverse portfolio that spans everything from novelty to textile designs, she is proud to bring her talent in Surface Pattern Design to Madison Park Greetings. Having earned her degree at a design school in her hometown of San Salvador, she is delighted to not only have the opportunity to inspire and teach surface design to students in El Salvador, but also begin this new adventure into the greeting card industry.
Emiko Leach (Emiko Rainbow)
With colorful patterns that are inherently influenced by her Scandinavian and Japanese ethnicity, Emiko Leach is delighted to bring her whimsical artwork to the world of greeting cards at Madison Park! With a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, she achieved her lifelong dream of starting her own creative freelance business, Emiko Rainbow, in 2016. However, this achievement has not diminished her drive to inspire kids of all kinds to celebrate their authenticity and diversity through art. We are thrilled to play a small role in this ongoing aspiration!
Kathy Cano-Murillo (Crafty Chica)
Full-time “creativepreneur” and founder of the award-winning Crafty Chica, Kathy Cano-Murillo is thrilled to begin a new collaboration in her already eclectic artistic career by joining Madison Park Greetings! Author of seven craft books, two novels, and most recently a non-fiction work highlighting the life of Frida Kahlo, she can’t wait to spread her “gospel of glitter” and beloved Mexican-American heritage to the masses through her line of bright, vibrant greeting cards.
For over 40 years, Madison Park Greetings has been widely recognized in the greeting card industry as a place for independent artists to showcase their work. Since the very beginning and through a variety of art mediums, our contributing talent have highlighted their diversity, uniqueness, and creativity in their design that we expertly reproduce on our greeting cards!
